Hello! First of all, thank you for creating such a great game. I've been sick and in bed for a week or so, and I've spent an embarassing amount of time playing drop7.
I have a suggestion/feature request: allow the use to 'undo' moves arbitrarily. I see the interaction working like this: triple-click to enter undo mode; a timebar/jog-shuttle control appears, and you can move the 'playhead' of the game backwards and then forwards to review the game thus far. Invoking this function should disqualify the user from submitting a high score. However, when I'm 200,000 points into the game and I miss-click, an undo would be very helpful. This is sort of like 'replay mode' in flight simulators. At any point while traversing the game thus far, the user has the option of resuming the game from this point. Could be very useful for learning the game. Thanks -- Joel |

Suggestion noted and will pass along to the devs.
I have also found myself wishing for this when, with a jolt in the subway, my finger accidentally slips to an adjacent column and I end up putting a 1 in a column that dooms me to failure. If this was implemented I could see it being like 1 per game, and like you said disable you from submitting a high score on it. We would probably need to implement something so the rewind feature couldn't be used to reveal a grey ball though. Thanks again for the suggestion |
